Join ZedWorks, a specialized architectural studio based in East Sussex, renowned for our high-precision metalwork. From bespoke staircases and balustrades to prestigious public commissions like the National Gallery, we bridge the gap between artistic design and technical excellence. We are looking for a motivated Technical Design Assistant to work closely with our Lead Designer, Amir, on complex metal projects from initial concept to final installation.

Missions principales

• Utilize Rhino to develop precise technical drawings and detailed fabrication plans.
• Support all project phases, including site surveying, design development, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Coordinate technical exchanges with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct occasional site visits in London to monitor progress and ensure installation accuracy.
• Participate in the end-to-end process, gaining hands-on experience in design, fabrication, and on-site installation.

Profil recherché

• Educational background or professional experience in Architecture, Product Design, or Engineering.
• A strong desire to master Rhino or similar 3D modeling software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for metal fabrication processes.
• A proactive mindset, preferring the dynamic environment of an ambitious small studio over a large corporate agency.

Competences requises

• Proficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino preferred) or a strong aptitude to learn quickly.
• Technical drawing and architectural documentation skills.
• Understanding of structural elements and fabrication constraints.
