Key Account Manager – FMCG Strategic Grocery Account

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our commercial sales team and manage one of our most strategic grocery accounts. You will work with well‑known hygiene brands such as Cushelle, Velvet, Plenty, Bodyform and Tena, using your cross‑functional experience to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build commercial relationships with allocated customers and deliver excellent service.
• Maintain the P&L of your accounts, managing sales and profitability targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales while meeting profit goals.
• Secure new product listings, present category‑based sales proposals and agree launch and support plans.
• Lead a cross‑functional team to achieve company objectives and P&L targets.
• Ensure accounts are settled according to agreed terms.
• Accurately forecast sales at the customer and SKU‑group level.

Required profile

• Proven commercial FMCG sales experience, preferably with a top‑4 grocery retailer.
• Experience managing national FMCG accounts and financial budgets.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales and insight data.
• Resilient, proactive and customer‑focused with a track record of building strong relationships.
• Cross‑functional leadership experience.
• Ability to prepare, present and own business plans.
• Effective communication with a focus on deliverables.
• Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• Full driving licence.
