Labourer - Must Drive

About the role

We are recruiting a Labourer (Driver) to join a specialist installation team that fits vinyl liners in swimming pools across the UK. The role is field‑based, involves daily travel and overnight stays, and includes a full 18‑month training programme to become a qualified installer.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut and handle bespoke vinyl liners to precise specifications.
• Use handheld heat guns to heat‑weld and join vinyl sections.
• Travel to customer sites nationwide and stay overnight as required.
• Work as part of a two‑person installation team to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Practical, hands‑on approach with strong work ethic.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours, including overtime.
• Reliable, motivated and eager to learn a specialist trade.
• Previous experience in construction, roofing or similar hands‑on trade is advantageous but not required.

Required skills

• Measuring and cutting vinyl liners.
• Heat‑welding vinyl using handheld heat guns.
• Basic installation of vinyl liners in pool construction.
