Lead Auditor

About the role

ISOQAR is expanding its Lead Auditor team in the North West of England. You will work with a diverse client base across construction, manufacturing, chemicals, engineering and more, delivering independent, evidence‑based third‑party audits of management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and lead independent audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Gather objective evidence and produce clear, impartial audit reports.
• Host opening and closing meetings to communicate findings to clients.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with client organisations.
• Continuously develop knowledge of industry standards and evolving regulations.
• Complete a 12‑week training programme and achieve Lead Auditor qualifications supported by ISOQAR.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operational experience in a relevant industry.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking and accurate report‑writing skills.
• Professional, methodical approach with high integrity.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, including occasional overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.
