Learning and Development Coordinator

About the role

The Learning and Development Coordinator will design, plan and deliver a comprehensive range of training programmes to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care across Kingsley Healthcare’s residential and nursing homes. The role involves travelling to sites in the Midlands, London and the South coast, and supporting other locations as required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver training courses covering Safeguarding, Moving and Assisting, First Aid, Dementia care, Mental Capacity Act and other mandatory subjects.
• Provide high‑quality training to groups of employees across multiple care home sites.
• Conduct learner assessments and ensure outcomes meet Skills for Care and CQC standards.
• Support induction training for new homes and new employees, ensuring consistent delivery.
• Facilitate and lead Champion programmes, supporting home champions to achieve required standards.
• Maintain accurate training records and adapt programmes to varying operational needs.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel to multiple sites across the Midlands, London and the South coast, with occasional travel to other areas.
• Ability to coordinate learning and development activities across residential and nursing care settings.
