Lecturer in Business & Entrepreneurship (Birmingham)

About the role

Global Banking School, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, is seeking a full‑time Lecturer to teach Business and Entrepreneurship modules for its BA (Hons) Global Business and Entrepreneurship programme. The role requires flexible delivery across weekdays, evenings and weekends on the Birmingham campus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess undergraduate modules covering project management, business planning, entrepreneurial processes, financial management and strategic management.
• Develop, update and improve course materials and teaching resources.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and learning materials to engage diverse student groups.
• Provide supervision, feedback and support to students throughout their studies.
• Participate in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties.
• Maintain accurate student records and reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant business discipline (PhD desirable).
• Previous UK higher‑education lecturing experience in related subjects.
• Demonstrated extensive knowledge of business and entrepreneurship topics.
• Experience supervising student work and delivering constructive feedback.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
