About the role
Wakefield College is seeking a dynamic Lecturer in Travel & Tourism to join its Business, Leisure & Tourism team. You will deliver engaging teaching across a range of travel and tourism courses, helping learners progress towards their qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and assess students on diverse Travel & Tourism modules.
- Contribute to curriculum design, development and organisation.
- Provide high‑quality student support to maximise achievement.
- Collaborate with a team of specialists to enhance the learning experience.
Required profile
- Degree in Travel & Tourism or a related subject, or equivalent industry experience.
- GCSE A*‑C (or level 2 equivalent) in Maths and English.
- PGCE or another recognised full teaching qualification.
- Experience working with 16‑18‑year‑olds, preferably in a teaching capacity.
- Prior experience as a teacher/lecturer in Travel & Tourism or a comparable role.
