Lightning Protection Fitter

About the role

Omega Red Group is seeking a motivated Lightning Protection Fitter to join its growing team in Wiltshire. You will travel to client sites, install lightning protection systems, and ensure all work complies with the latest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and install lightning protection equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce accurate paperwork in line with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of BS EN 62305 and other relevant codes of practice.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet client satisfaction and project deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in lightning protection installation or a strong electrical background.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional work away from home.
• CSCS card (Health & Safety test) preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Required skills

• Lightning protection fitting/engineering experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Lightning Protection installation.
• MEWP and PASMA qualifications.
• Understanding of BS EN 62305 standards.
