About the role

Sellick Partnership is supporting a council in Surrey that needs an experienced Employment Lawyer on a locum basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while handling a diverse employment law caseload for a local government client.

Key responsibilities

Manage a mixed employment law caseload, ensuring timely and accurate advice.
Advise internal stakeholders on a broad range of employment matters.
Conduct and manage Employment Tribunal claims from initiation through resolution.
Provide pragmatic, solution‑focused legal advice to support the council’s objectives.

Required profile

Previous experience in local government employment law.
Proven track record handling Employment Tribunal litigation.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
