Machine Tool Operator – Metal Machining

About the role

Metalcor Building Systems Inc. is seeking a reliable Machine Tool Operator to join its metal machining team in London, ON. You will work in a noisy, dusty environment performing repetitive machining operations on metal parts.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and other metal‑working machines.
• Enter speed, feed and cut codes for computer‑numerically‑controlled (CNC) toolpaths.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Prepare etching solution and immerse workpieces to remove unwanted material.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty shop environment.
• Availability for shift or on‑call work and weekend schedules.
• One to two years of experience in metal machining or a related trade.
