Maintenance Technician (Part‑time)

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our London property on a part‑time basis. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform minor plumbing and general upkeep tasks, and ensure a safe, well‑maintained environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, including unclogging drains, fixing toilets and leaking faucets.
• Perform minor electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs and adjusting toilet seats.
• Repair small wall damages and other low‑priority issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
• Communicate with guests and staff to resolve maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training.
• Uphold a professional appearance, protect company assets, and respect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort working on ladders, stairs, and in confined spaces.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
