Management Accountant – Finance Team (Birmingham)

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a well‑structured finance team supporting financial reporting across several entities. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key part in delivering accurate month‑end and year‑end accounts while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, month‑end and year‑end reporting for multiple entities.
• Perform reconciliations and financial analysis to support decision‑making.
• Ensure statutory reporting compliance, including VAT and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.

Required profile

• Newly qualified or finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience preparing management accounts and conducting financial analysis.
• Good understanding of statutory reporting, VAT and financial compliance.

Required skills

• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work confidently across a range of financial systems.
