Management Accountant – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing business in Leeds City Centre. The role offers a blend of management accounting, financial accounting and finance business partnering, providing exposure to senior decision‑makers and a chance to develop a broad finance skill set.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow reports.
• Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast.
• Support statutory accounts preparation and year‑end audit requirements.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Assist with VAT and other statutory reporting.
• Maintain and develop financial models and forecasting tools.
• Partner with operational and non‑finance stakeholders on finance matters.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Recent experience in management accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident stakeholder engagement across the business.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• Financial modelling.
