Management Accountant (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Management Accountant to join a market‑leading, globally recognised company based in Manchester. This permanent position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you will support the wider finance team and contribute to delivering accurate financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end reporting covering sales, margins, balance sheets and journal entries.
• Close ledgers and perform reconciliations at month‑end.
• Liaise with stakeholders, managers and directors to ensure financial data integrity.
• Drive process improvements and add commercial value across the business.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified finance student (AAT Level 4 or ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in transactional finance, management accounts, stock/cost control and reporting.
• Background in a product‑based industry.
• Strong IT aptitude, particularly in Excel.
• Positive, proactive and team‑oriented attitude.
• Bonus: experience in process improvement or mentoring.
