Marketing and Finance Strategist (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing and Finance Strategist to join a leading banking client on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. Working hybrid in London, you will report to the Head of Marketing and play a pivotal role in budget oversight, capacity planning and strategic execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual marketing budget, maintain accurate reporting across campaigns and flag risks or opportunities.
• Prioritise business requests, balancing customer impact, regulatory requirements, capacity and strategic value.
• Assist Senior Marketing Managers in shaping the marketing strategy and annual plan.
• Provide clear updates on marketing activity to business stakeholders.
• Lead high‑impact marketing projects, collaborating with execution teams to deliver timely initiatives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to team processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing strategy and planning, with a track record of turning objectives into actionable plans.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with a focus on customer needs.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
• Experience in financial services and an understanding of market and competitor dynamics.
