Materials Planner – Global Agricultural Machinery Manufacturer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Materials Planner to join a leading global manufacturer of agricultural machinery. You will manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensure material availability for production, and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external suppliers for a defined catalogue of parts.
• Monitor material requirements from customer orders and align deliveries with production schedules.
• Handle daily component shortages and secure delivery commitments from suppliers.
• Communicate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Manufacturing to resolve material queries.
• Investigate and escalate potential supply issues to minimise disruption.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP/MRP system and track supplier performance.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce inventory and transportation costs.
• Prepare analytical reports and respond promptly to material shortages.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Materials, Supply, Production or Inventory Planner.
• Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
