About the role
We are looking for a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Borough of Islington. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5, and inspiring students to develop confidence and curiosity in mathematics.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver challenging mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3, 4 and optionally 5.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and collaborate with the mathematics department.
- Work with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate young people.
- Commitment to inclusive and high‑quality education.
Required skills
- Mathematics subject knowledge.
