Maths Teacher – Secondary School (South West London)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in South West London from September 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher to work in a supportive environment with strong leadership and a focus on student achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.
• Monitor and assess student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Maths department and the wider school team.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Passion for raising student attainment and achievement.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to provide two recent professional references.
