About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in South West London from September 2026. The role offers a supportive environment with strong leadership and a focus on student achievement.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (KS5 optional).
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging, high‑quality lessons.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
- Create an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the maths department and wider school team.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching maths in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to raising attainment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two recent professional references.
