Mechanic – Full‑time, No Weekends, £45k, Manchester

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our state‑of‑the‑art garage in Manchester. The role offers a stable 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday only, with competitive pay and a supportive environment where you can work independently or as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, timing chains, belts, clutches and other components.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably with a strong knowledge of Land Rovers and multiple manufacturers (Ford, Peugeot, VW, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Own basic tool set (large tools will be provided).
