Media Lecturer – Teach Creative & Media Courses

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Media Lecturers to deliver high‑quality teaching across a range of Further Education providers in London. This role offers the chance to shape the next generation of media professionals by sharing your expertise in media production, journalism, advertising, film, television and digital content.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Media lessons for learners of varying levels.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate teaching records in line with college requirements.
- Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Help learners develop both practical and theoretical media skills.
- Contribute to learner achievement, retention and progression.
Required profile
- Relevant degree or qualification in Media, Media Production, Journalism, Film Studies, Digital Media, Creative Media, Communications or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Media in Further Education, Higher Education, Secondary Education or Adult Learning.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Passion for media and creative education.
