Merchant Operations Specialist

About the role

Joybuy is seeking a Merchant Operations Specialist to drive growth and efficiency for our marketplace merchants across Europe. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop strategies, optimise performance and support merchants throughout their journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tiered merchant strategies based on size, category and other dimensions, aligning resources and incentives to boost sales.
• Monitor and analyse merchant performance metrics such as traffic, conversion and fulfillment, identifying anomalies and growth opportunities.
• Design and execute online and offline marketing campaigns, coordinating product listings, resource allocation and performance reviews to achieve GMV targets.
• Provide day‑to‑day merchant support, resolve operational issues and deliver training, while collaborating with product and data teams to improve tools and policies.
• Track industry trends, competitor actions and market shifts, continuously refining operational frameworks for scalable growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in e‑commerce or marketplace merchant operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
