Mobile A/C Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile A/C Engineer to carry out maintenance and repairs on static commercial sites across South London. The role involves working on a variety of air‑conditioning equipment, ensuring systems run efficiently and comply with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, filter changes, leak checks, coil cleaning and compressor diagnostics on split and multi‑split units.
• Balance airflow, troubleshoot actuators/dampers, set up controllers and maintain reheater coils on VAV terminal units.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault‑finding and major component replacement on VRV/VRF systems and air‑handling plant.
• Maintain F‑Gas logbooks, ensure compliance records are up‑to‑date and participate in a 1‑in‑5 on‑call rota with a standby allowance.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in A/C & Refrigeration.
• Valid F‑Gas Category 1 certification (2079).
• Proven hands‑on experience with splits, multi‑splits, VRV/VRF and VAV systems in commercial environments.
• Full UK driving licence and residence within reasonable distance of South London.
