MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician – Full-time at Renault

About the role

Holdcroft is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join the Hanley Renault workshop. The successful candidate will perform MOT testing, servicing and repairs, ensuring compliance with DVSA and manufacturer standards while contributing to a professional after‑sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles.
• Perform servicing and repair work as required.
• Ensure all work meets MOT and manufacturer standards.
• Follow company procedures and compliance requirements.
• Manage workload to meet daily targets.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the wider after‑sales team.

Required profile

• Valid MOT Tester licence.
• Experience in vehicle servicing and mechanical repair.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and accurate paperwork.
• Effective communication with colleagues and customers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proactive and motivated approach.
