Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing

About the role

This position offers an exciting chance to join a forward‑thinking FMCG manufacturer as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for keeping production machinery running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the delivery of high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and systems.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as required.

Required profile

• A recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities for machinery issues.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations in an engineering setting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
