National Account Manager – Grocery

About the role

Genius Foods is a fast‑growing challenger brand in the gluten‑free bakery sector. The National Account Manager – Grocery will lead relationships with major UK grocery retailers, driving commercial performance and long‑term partnership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day relationships with key grocery customers and develop Joint Business Plans aligned to commercial targets.
• Identify and unlock growth opportunities across distribution, pricing, promotions and range, managing the account P&L.
• Use EPOS and market data to inform decisions, track volume, NSV and margin, and proactively manage risks and opportunities.
• Lead regular performance reviews internally and with customers.
• Plan and execute promotions, pricing, trade marketing and shelf‑stand‑out activities, ensuring flawless execution of forecasts and submissions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain and Marketing to deliver results under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• High‑potential, commercially sharp individual with experience as a Junior Account Manager or Account Manager in FMCG or challenger businesses.
• Strong analytical mindset, outcome‑focused and comfortable with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive, resilient and able to work at pace.
• Strong academic track record preferred.
