Newly Qualified Management Accountant – £50k‑£53k (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a full‑time, hybrid position for a newly qualified Management Accountant based in Warrington. You will own the production of management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and financial controls while working closely with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
• Develop and enhance performance reporting and analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to review overhead spend and forecast future performance.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and provide commentary on variances.
• Maintain robust financial controls across systems and processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting, systems and controls.
• Complete month‑end balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve issues.
• Build strong relationships with budget holders and finance business partners.
• Deliver group reporting on P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Provide technical accounting support to the finance team.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and business improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and ability to translate financial data into business insight.
