Nursery Nurse / Assistant – North London

About the role
Join BRETSA Early Years as a Nursery Nurse or Assistant supporting children in North London nurseries. You will work in a vibrant early‑years environment, helping children engage in play, activities and daily care.
Key responsibilities
- Support children with age‑appropriate play and learning activities.
- Provide general care, including feeding, toileting and comforting.
- Assist the lead practitioner in preparing the environment and resources.
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery setting.
Required profile
- Qualified Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or unqualified Nursery Assistant.
- Ability to commute to Camden, Mill Hill, Highbury or Burnt Oak areas.
- Willingness to work at least one day per week from 8 am or 9 am to 5 pm or 6 pm.
- Checkable references.
Required skills
- Understanding of early‑years developmental milestones.
- Experience with child‑care routines and safeguarding procedures.
What we offer
- Full‑time or part‑time shifts, Monday‑Friday.
- Hourly rate from £10.85 to £14, paid weekly.
- Holiday pay accrued on top of the hourly rate.
- Potential for a permanent position.
