Office Sales Person

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Office Sales Person to support the day‑to‑day operations of our sales office for an established valve company near Potters Bar. This position starts as a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the daily running of the sales office, ensuring smooth administrative processes.
• Maintain accurate records and manage data using Sage Line 50.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
• Provide problem‑solving support and uphold high attention to detail.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a friendly, family‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar office or sales support role.
• Proficiency with Sage software (Sage Line 50) is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and a dependable work ethic.
• Enthusiastic, committed and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
