On-Prem IAM Support Engineer (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking an On‑Prem Identity & Access Management (IAM) Support Engineer to join our Manchester team. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting critical on‑prem identity services, ensuring secure lifecycle management and strong governance across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs) in a live production environment.
• Support Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and manage Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) processes and integrations.
• Manage and support the internal PKI using Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).
• Ensure smooth identity lifecycle management and access governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM‑related incidents across on‑prem systems.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience supporting MIM in a production setting.
• Strong background with JML processes implemented via MIM.
• Solid hands‑on experience administering Active Directory, including users, groups and GPOs.
• Experience managing AD CS / internal PKI environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and operational support capabilities.
