Online ESL Tutor (K-12) - Remote

About the Role

Join Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) as an Online ESL Tutor and make a meaningful impact on young learners. You will deliver high-quality, personalized English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons to K-12 students based in Singapore and Hong Kong, following our specialized curriculum.

Main Missions

• Conduct engaging 50-minute one-on-one online English lessons.
• Prepare and adapt educational materials tailored to each student's age and proficiency level.
• Manage and update your availability through the Cosmo application.
• Provide detailed student progress feedback after every session.
• Maintain professional communication with parents, students, and the internal staff.
• Ensure a reliable, punctual, and professional teaching environment.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of K-12 teaching experience in English Language Arts (ELA).
• Proven expertise with K-12 standards, curricula, and ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification/certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Required Skills & Requirements

• Strong command of English and pedagogical expertise.
• Technical setup: High-speed reliable internet and a Windows or Mac computer (min. 6000 CPU).
• Availability: Minimum 20 hours per week (Weekdays 8 AM - 2 PM GMT or Weekends 5 AM - 2 PM GMT).
• Ability to work from a quiet, private home office environment.
