Paralegal – Travel Law – Personal Injury

About the role

The Travel Law team within the Personal Injury department is seeking a Paralegal to support both individual claimant cases and a high‑profile group action involving injuries abroad. Working under the supervision of the Head of the Travel Team, you will gain hands‑on experience in mass litigation, international claims, and client‑focused legal practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lawyers with drafting witness statements, schedules of client information, and other litigation documents.
• Review medical, financial and travel documentation; organise evidence and prepare case bundles.
• Manage day‑to‑day case administration, including client liaison, telephone contact and correspondence.
• Obtain accurate client instructions, analyse claim details and help prepare preliminary advice on liability, quantum and funding.
• Handle monetary transactions in line with firm procedures and maintain accurate case files.
• Utilise IT systems to deliver efficient, cost‑effective client service and stay up‑to‑date through in‑house training.

Required profile

• Excellent academic record (LLB, PGDL or equivalent conversion course).
• Previous experience as a paralegal or in litigation support.
• Strong interest in claimant law and a passion for delivering justice to clients affected by serious failings abroad.
