Paraplanner – Hybrid Working, Early Friday Finish

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a respected independent financial planning firm in Birmingham. You will work closely with senior Financial Planners, providing technical support and helping to deliver holistic financial advice to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed, personalised suitability reports for clients.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Build and maintain accurate cash‑flow models.
• Prepare recommendations that support comprehensive financial plans.
• Liaise with clients, accountants and solicitors to gather information and ensure smooth implementation.
• Assist with advice implementation while upholding high compliance standards.
• Support Financial Planners throughout the advice process, from recommendation to implementation.
• Ensure FCA and Consumer Duty principles are embedded in every client outcome.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paraplanner within a financial planning environment.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Ability to produce high‑quality suitability reports and cash‑flow models.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and support team members.
