About the role

We are a well‑established wealth management firm in Manchester seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our technical team. This role is ideal for a Level 4 Diploma qualified professional who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and wants a long‑term career in paraplanning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive suitability reports for clients.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
• Analyse client data and assist with tailored financial planning recommendations.
• Support client review meetings and report preparation.
• Ensure FCA compliance and maintain accurate client records.
• Collaborate with financial advisers to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
• Minimum 2 years paraplanning experience in a financial planning or wealth management environment.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality suitability reports.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Excellent organisational, communication and report‑writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial planning systems.
