Paraplanner Team Leader (Technical & Investment Focus)

About the role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced paraplanner to step into a leadership position where technical expertise and strategic input are highly valued. You will support advisers by delivering high‑quality technical advice while leading a growing paraplanning function.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality technical advice across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior paraplanners, acting as the technical reference point.
• Improve consistency, standards and workflows within the paraplanning function.
• Maintain and develop the firm’s Central Investment Proposition.
• Sit on the investment committee and contribute to investment governance and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and estate planning (essential).
• Previous experience as a senior or technical paraplanner (essential).
• Experience leading or mentoring paraplanners (desirable).
• Experience contributing to a Central Investment Proposition or investment governance (desirable).
