Part-time ICT Lecturer (0.5 FTE) – Temporary

About the role
We are looking for an experienced ICT Lecturer to join Reed Further Education on a part‑time, temporary basis. The role runs from 1 September 2026 to 18 December 2026, covering three days per week (7.5 hours each day) across multiple sites in Birmingham.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver ICT lessons to learners at various levels in Further Education.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, interactive teaching sessions.
- Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of attendance and achievement.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Travel between sites as required to support learners.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching ICT in Further Education or a similar setting.
- Relevant ICT or Computing qualification.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
