Part‑time Housekeeper for Dual Sites (20 hrs/week)

About the role

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance across two Greystar residential sites – Chapter Portobello and Chapter White City – to ensure a positive resident experience. The role works 20 hours per week, split between Friday/Saturday at White City and Sunday/Monday at Portobello.

Key responsibilities

• Clean reception areas, offices, common spaces and restrooms.
• Perform daily litter pick‑up in all external community areas.
• Maintain amenity areas, ensuring they are tidy and presentable.
• Refresh empty rooms, apartments and show flats throughout the day to keep them market‑ready.
• Conduct weekly deep‑clean flush‑downs of vacant rooms in line with health‑and‑safety policies.
• Assist the make‑ready process and carry out additional duties requested by the Community Manager or supervisor.
• Report hazards, safety concerns and maintenance issues to the Community Manager or Customer Service team.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request re‑orders when needed.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment efficiently, championing cost‑effective practices without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Ability to read and write English to understand safety labels, COSHH policy and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety requirements and safe use of cleaning fluids and tools.
• Previous experience maintaining cleanliness in a customer‑occupied environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
