Part‑time Maintenance Technician (20 hrs/week)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a part‑time Maintenance Technician to support its London community. Working 20 hours per week, you will help deliver a high‑quality resident experience by handling routine repairs, planned maintenance, and ensuring compliance of building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Community team to address resident repair requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, contractors, and colleagues about maintenance issues.
• Maintain the electronic maintenance reporting system (Entrata) and keep records up to date.
• Monitor stock levels of spares and supplies, planning ahead for future needs.
• Diagnose and perform repairs in plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting/decorating, and lighting, or coordinate contractors when required.
• Respond to health and safety matters, reporting incidents to the Community Manager.
• Inspect and keep communal areas, including waste and recycling facilities, clean and in good repair.
• Assist the Community Manager with security and overall site management.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work within a team.
• Good communication skills with residents, contractors and internal staff.
• Proactive attitude and initiative in identifying and solving maintenance issues.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures and timely reporting of incidents.
