Part‑time Nursery Support Worker (EYFS Teaching Assistant)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Part‑time Nursery Support Worker to join a well‑established primary faith school in Edgbaston, Birmingham. You will work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, helping to create a safe and stimulating environment for young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development during play and learning activities.
- Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor sessions, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and daily observations.
- Collaborate with staff to implement individual learning plans.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years CACHE qualification.
- Current Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to inclusive practice.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive team.
Required skills
- Knowledge of EYFS statutory framework.
- Ability to follow safeguarding and health‑and‑safety procedures.
