Part‑time PPA Teacher – Primary School (London)

About the role
This is a part‑time, fixed‑term position for a PPA Teacher in a welcoming primary school located in Waltham Forest, London. The role starts in September and runs for one academic year, offering a flexible teaching schedule without the need for lesson planning or marking.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.
- Cover a range of subjects across Year 1 to Year 6, adapting delivery to the needs of each class.
- Maintain classroom behaviour standards and create an engaging learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching pupils from Year 1 to Year 6.
- Positive, energetic personality with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
Required skills
- Ability to follow pre‑planned lesson materials accurately.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
