Penetration Tester – Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

As a Penetration Tester within Capgemini’s Technical Assurance Services (CTAS) team, you will help clients identify and manage security risks across their IT infrastructure, applications and networks. You will combine manual and automated testing techniques to simulate real‑world attacks and provide clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests and security assessments, including specialist areas and IT Health Checks.
• Produce accurate technical reports, executive summaries, scopes and proposals for clients.
• Engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to explain findings and recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Capgemini’s QA standards and ethical guidelines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and testing methodologies.
• Share knowledge within the team, contribute to research and support service development.

Required profile

• Certified Check Team Member (CTM) – a mandatory prerequisite.
• Proven experience in a penetration testing role.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to ethical standards.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model across offices, client sites and home.
