Pensions Solicitor Senior Associate / Legal Director

About the role

We are partnering with a nationally recognised law firm to recruit a Pensions Solicitor at Senior Associate / Legal Director level for its growing Birmingham office. This full‑time position offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of pension matters, ranging from advisory and transactional work to dispute resolution for both public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on occupational pension schemes and related legislation.
• Assist clients with scheme governance, regulatory compliance and corporate transactions.
• Deliver pension risk advice and support members in dispute matters.
• Collaborate with senior specialists across multiple offices to develop comprehensive solutions.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in pensions law.
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support business growth.
