People Advisory M&A Consultant

About the role

Join WTW’s Integrated and Global Solutions (IGS) line of business as a People Advisory – M&A Consultant. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will support global clients through the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions and related transactions, providing HR expertise from due diligence to post‑integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑country M&A projects, including HR due diligence, carve‑out design and benefit programme implementation.
• Develop and deliver M&A readiness training, playbooks and strategic advice for client teams.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR, Finance and local Retirement & Reward specialists to assess client needs and define scopes of work.
• Provide post‑merger integration guidance on global grading, compensation, benefits design, provider selection and change management.
• Support business development activities such as marketing, conference participation and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering HR consulting services in M&A contexts.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to coordinate cross‑disciplinary, multi‑country teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to contribute to new ideas and best‑practice sharing.
