Personal Injury Solicitor Legal Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor to join our nationally recognised Insurance Litigation team as a Legal Director. This senior position offers autonomy, high‑quality litigation work and the chance to lead a portfolio of complex claims.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multi‑track personal injury and property damage claims from inception to resolution.
• Advise insurer and public‑sector clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through commercially focused advice.
• Lead business development initiatives to strengthen existing relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Delegate work to junior lawyers while ensuring quality and client service standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years PQE as a Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor.
• Proven ability to lead matters independently and mentor junior lawyers.
• Strong commercial mindset and practical approach to complex disputes.
• Collaborative style with enthusiasm for team growth.

Required skills

• Expertise in personal injury litigation.
• Knowledge of property damage litigation and coverage disputes (advantageous).
• Excellent client management and stakeholder relationship skills.
