About the role

We are seeking a skilled plumber to work across occupied and vacant properties in Manchester, delivering high‑quality installations, repairs and maintenance while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance, alongside basic plastering, joinery and tiling.
• Assess and treat localized damp and mould issues (up to 1 m²) in line with Awaab's Law.
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems methodically to complete repairs on the first visit.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
• Represent the client professionally while working inside residents' homes.
• Manage daily tasks and travel to various sites across the Manchester region.

Required profile

• Completed recognised plumbing apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
• Proven competence in plumbing as the primary trade, with practical tiling and plastering skills preferred.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards, CDM frameworks and Awaab's Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Organisational and problem‑solving abilities with a commitment to safety.
