About the role
We are seeking an experienced Primary School Administrator for a short‑term assignment at a friendly mainstream primary school in Reading. The role provides essential administrative support to the school team and senior leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage reception, visitor enquiries and telephone calls.
- Answer emails and maintain effective communication with parents and staff.
- Maintain pupil records and update school databases.
- Support attendance monitoring and related administrative processes.
- Provide general administrative assistance to staff and senior leaders.
- Ensure records are kept up‑to‑date and confidential.
Required profile
- Previous school administration experience within a UK primary school.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy school environment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
