About the role
This temporary, day‑to‑day position is for a qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) who wants to focus on classroom teaching without the burden of lesson planning. You will work across a range of primary schools in Crawley and the surrounding area, delivering ready‑made lessons from 08:30 to 15:30.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons using school‑provided plans and resources.
- Mark student work completed during the school day; no take‑home marking required.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.
- Follow each school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
