About the role
We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN/SEMH school. The successful candidate will design and deliver personalised lessons for pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties, working closely with support staff, therapists and families.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess tailored curriculum that meets individual pupil needs.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, external therapists and parents to support each learner.
- Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies and interventions.
- Monitor pupil progress, maintain accurate achievement records and adjust plans as required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a specialist school or SEN setting.
- Patient, nurturing and flexible approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support capabilities.
- Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
