About the role
We are looking for a passionate Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southwark from March to July 2026. The position is full‑time and temporary, offering the chance to work in a supportive, community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and adapt engaging lessons for a class of 30 pupils.
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour and a positive learning culture.
- Collaborate with the parallel Year 5 teacher and senior leadership team.
- Use pre‑planned curriculum resources, tailoring them to meet the needs of your class.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to high standards.
