About the role
Snowflake is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer for the UK market to solve customers’ most complex data challenges. You will partner closely with sales teams and channel partners, understand customer needs, and guide them through evaluation to adopt Snowflake as their solution.
Key responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate value through demos, proofs of concept, design and implementation across the sales cycle.
- Create technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Stay current on Snowflake roadmap, competitive technologies, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and ecosystem partners to improve offerings and joint architectures.
Required profile
- Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Solution engineering or architect experience in a SaaS environment, with strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Understanding of data architecture, analytics, cloud technology, and hands‑on SQL expertise.
